Keywords

Messenger allows you to perform actions when an incoming message matches a particular pattern, or keyword, and is sent to a specific number.

The available actions include:

Static Reply

Automatically reply to the customer who sent the message

Forward to Email

Forward the incoming message to a specific Email address

Forward to Mobile

Forward the incoming message to a specific mobile phone

Forward to Web Service

Call a web service with the incoming message data. More information

Reply From Webhook

Call a web service with the incoming message data, and, optionally generate a reply. This is a more flexible version of 'Forward to Web Service'. More information

Add To Inbox

Put the incoming message into the inbox of a specific user

Opt-In to Group

Add the customer to a specific Group. More information

Multiple Actions

Multiple Actions can be configured against a single keyword, so you can send a ‘Static Reply’ and put the message into the inbox of multiple users, and store the message in your own system using ‘Forward to Web Service’.
